Hmm... I just checked the website and that's a pretty dope lineup, not sure what the confusion is about?? David Morales and Louie Vega early on a Sunday night, that's awesome! Also, it's at 6PM, not too early, and ends at 2AM, it's pretty much an extension of those Danny Krivit 718 Sessions parties and deep house events they do once a month, but now a weekly thing. They always start at 6PM, etc... Also, the list of promoters, most of them are pretty seasoned and well-known in the business, I wouldn't be surprised if this party does really well with the deep house crowd, which is really way more than you'd think. Although it's closed now, think about how many 25-40 y/o people Shelter used to draw week-in and week-out at 4AM. So this is a Sunday party, you know people are going to be packing it out! I might check this out one of these weeks...

I'm not saying I'm right but I remember Silverbull always putting videos on ClubPlanet, like documentaries of DJs, dancing, New York venues, Paradise Garage, etc... I'm gunna guess it's something like that, which is pretty damn cool actually. And as far as the drugs are concerned, I'm sure there's people going there for that, but I've found deep house parties to be generally sober and all for the love of dance, or at least the dozen or so I've been to (that weren't afterhours). I've had more fun at deep house parties than I have at most of the techno and trance events I've been to, it's a whole other style and vibe of "going clubbing".

lol, it happens.

I actually like the alternative formats like this. A movie room? Thats awesome haha. I would love to be able to chill out in a room like that during a party.

The food thing...its a Sunday afternoon party. Its actually not that bad an idea. A lot of these big clubs don't allow re-entry once people leave, so giving people that option during a day time party kind of makes sense.

Yeah, I played at this rave once in Long Island City that had one big room with microwaves and 80cents White Castle burgers... You have no idea how good of an idea that was lol...

I defiantly wasn't saying that a sunday early evening party wasn't a good idea, more the fine print, but on the contrary i think a sunday evening party would be amazing. something really low key just for the love of the music. i feel like the crowd at one of these events would be amazing in contrast to the people there just looking to get tanked, hit on girls, and start fights that go out during the weekend...the my new haircut people
