just a little porn.

What a beauty..

They canīt be compared though.

I have to say that you should decide for yourself if you wnt the voyager or the LP.
Listen to sound demos to get an idea. If I were you, Iīd definitely buy the LP.
Have you considered the prophet 08? Thatīs my next purchase. It has some cool features
my andromeda does not have, and it sounds quite differently. Great for oberheim sounds!

Seems like I need to take that back. I misunderstood some features on the prophet.
In that case, it seems like there isnīt much of anything new compared to the andromeda.
I still would like one though.

Noo way. I agree that one Moog Voyager will sound better than a single voice on the Andromeda, but not 84% better. More like 25% better. The OSCs and Filter and VERY close to the moog and, although the Voyager has 3 voices, the Andromeda can play all of its OSC types at once and has two sub OSCs.

I think bass isn't one of the andromeda's best strengths. Its is awesome for sound effects, evolving pads etc though.

Even the little phatty can get a stronger bass sound:

Little Phatty

Although that guy is also an awesome player! The voyager can get some really sick basses though and i just love the moog sound.

It is a pretty standard stab that sound. It sounds as if it is a three note chord. Remember the Phatty only has two oscillators, while the voyager has three and a noise generator as well. With the voyager you would just tune ocsillator 2 & 3 differently to osc 1 to create the chord, then just use the envelopes to create the pluckiness.
