btw the current model is the 702 which replaced the 701.

i'll probably will add this as a second headphone to my current sennheiser HD 595. i heard a lot of good things about the 70X

Has anyone had any experience with any other fairly decent semi/full open back cans? Wouldn't mind a second set

they're the replacement: they're the same, but cost more..

well, usually newer models should be an improvement in sound qualit<. but i guess it is not that much of a difference. akg itself lists only the 702 (http://www.akg.com/site/powerslave,...anguage,DE.html)
