In my opinion, this steroid issue is compromising the sport and something drastic is necessary. I say ban every current player that has tested positive for steriods at any point in their professional career from the game FOR LIFE! Also, make them ineligible for the hall of fame. Simple fines or suspensions is obviously not working. ya the game might take a hit for a few years but in the long run players will learn to compete based on hard work and not reliance on foreign substances. |
You can't just ban anyone who has tested positive because a lot of performance enhancing drugs weren't even banned until 2003.
