Was a good night with a good vibe up until 3am.

Jaytech did lay down some good tunes and kept a good flow for the short time he was on.
Above and Beyond were allright, but probably should have been a little better than allright based on some of the tunes being played on anjunabeats right now. Lots of potential good club tunes.
Heard both Super 8 and tab tunes i liked, didnt hear the majority I was looking for.
After 3, they opened up the cheese and played every single one of their old vocal tunes. I have a HUGE problem with dj's who do that. Heard these damn christmas singalongs 1000 times over now, ruins a set when you stuff so damn many of them in. Play a couple, no problem, not each one of them almost back to back. For the record they were: cant sleep, noone on earth, good for me, touch me (not theirs but cant stand it), far from in love, satelite, alone tonight, surrender, breaking ties, sirens of the sea.
A sad discography is what it was.

Anyhow I realize some people are there for that, I guess it is better to have them slapped together at the end so you can escape if need be.

Overall a pretty fun night, ended a little sour for my liking.
Good meeting a few new faces out there.

1. Touch me - Agreed can't stand that track it always seems to get played in there and it always ruins the night.

2. Some moron during Far from in love kept saying Air For Life over and over...I believe this was caught on Kotsy's video...what the hell is all I gotta say...

night was just ok for me. Came in and went to the acid lounge where Yohan was already ripping it up. Seeing jaytech was pretty cool. I didnt really know what to expect but he did a good job with the crowd. He played some sweet tunes and got me pumped for a&b. Went back into the acid lounge to see berry set but I guess he had a problem with people breaking into his car (sorry to hear that dude) so he wasnt there. We went back into the main room... Could have been that I wasnt up to the front as much as I wanted to be but the crowd was the most rude I have ever seen. Pushing was at a super high, and was very hard to get into the set. We finally got to a spot that we were not getting harassed every 5th of a second, and started to get into the killer tracks a&b were playing. Only song I wish they played that didnt was anjunabeats - volume 1 (above and beyond remix) but I guess they cant play them all. Fuck those guys get into it! They were making the dj booth bounce up ad down as well as the speakers. We left right after a&b because we couldnt handle the pushing and pulling anymore. It was nice to catch up with a few of you and I cant wait till next week in the purple room "Bringing Trance Back To The Purple Room!!!"

crowd 3/10
jaytech 7/10
a&b 8/10

The best birthday party ever thx to everyone for coming out

I had such amazing time partying with all you guys omg Jaytech holy shit this guy
need's to come back to the guv really soon and play more then an hour give me a break.
Was not sure what to expect first time seing him i have to say that he played awesome
some tracks he played which i had no idea what they were called Lol.. Which was good bc it was something
new to here. His mixing was not bad at all right on cue in my book he got the crowd pumped for A&B which was
fantastic i new i was up for a kick ass nite. I must say for Jaytech to play for an hour OMG
he was on fire not much he could play in that 1 hour but a killer set the next time i think the guv
should have Anjunabeats nite Super8 and Tab Jaytech or Andy Moor and of course Above and Beyond
holy shit just thinking about this line up what a nite it will be

Above and Beyond
I been dying to see them since miami OMG was so glad they were back at the guv
it may have not been there best set but i enjoyed it soo much maybe bc it was my bday party and
everyone was there and having a good time they played all my fav. OMFG
when i heard Surrender i was going fucking
i sent them a msg over on there myspace page if they could drop it wow such a kick ass tune
the place just whent absolutely crazzzy as for me i have in heaven one of the best
classics tunes of all time.. I was sooo surprised when they played Katana In Silence
(Txitxarro Mix) This track brought back memories
OMG was luving it then they played there older tunes which i was ok with the only old track i was
happy to here was Satellite yeah yeah i know we have heard this track so many times but i luv it...
Other then that my nite was awesome music may of not been the best but your friends make
the nite much better thx again w00t w00t...

good night overall awesome seeing some familiar faces (Spam! ) and regular suspects

crowd was probably the worst I've seen in a while - nothing new there but still a bit of a meh factor.. being surrounded by friends reaaally helped!

Jaytech played a solid set, def a great opener, would be nice to hear him for more then an hour sometime soon.. A&B started off nice and hard (surprise right there!).. Super8 & Tab - Electra and Can't Sleep = 2 tunes of the night for me!

till next time!

- Funky.

Jaytech was freakin amazing! I lost my shit when he played 'Villa Nova'.

I agree with some of the comments above with it being too full. I don't go to Guv very often for that very reason. I wound up leaving about an hour into A&B's set because the place was just -too- crowded.

showed up a bit later. crowd had evidently thinned a bit based on other people's comments - still packed but comfortably so. A&B played some good tunes, was half-cut already so it blurred but a few hours on the floor and then home. 6.5/10 - can't complain, nothing mind-blowing.
