The membership is basically free if you sign up with Time Warner Cable, they give you $30 back. It takes like 3 months to process though

My management company is KMK Management. Usually older (rent controlled) buildings, but they keep them in decent shape.

Check out the Fox Hills area of Culver City. Right next to Westchester and the 405. I have lived here for close to two years and it's pretty convenient to everything and about 10 minutes from LAX. Generally pretty quiet as well. I think there are a few rental buildings in the area.
