Read this earlier this morning.. as much as it sucks, I'm sure he is gonna stay involved with music in some way. He is probably going to start producing more albums similar to what he did with Saul Williams.

Trent is a sneaky bastard, though. I wouldn't be at all surprised if one day down the road he randomly announces a new album or some other project.

dont really give two fucks about NIN or him either way, don't know him and never will so.

Only in the US. If you listen to a lot of NIN's imports, they are DRASTICALLY different than the US stuff. The original track that became "Closer" is very different than what you are used to hearing.
