hold shift on the jp and press `PFM Part` check that part midi channel is at CH 1

Also check in `midi prm` that `perform ctrl ch` is set to 1 as well.

And of course, that output from FL is set to midi channel 1

Have got Upper and Lower PFM part set to Ch 1. have also set perf ctrl ch to 1 as well. And midi out on FL is set to channel 1. Still no dice!

Nightmare!

Are there any settings in FL that i'm poss missing? I wish the JP had a midi light on it, so that I knew midi was getting through...

Check on the JP if Local Switch is set to ON.

And if it is, its your settings in FL

When I had a JP I had no luck unless I connected my MIDI out on my MIDI interface (connected to my PC) to the KBD IN of the JP. I never used the MIDI IN on it, but I guess I was using it only in performance mode according to this:

edit: also, doesn't FL use a port along with a MIDI channel? I seem to recall having to set that to 0. I bought Ableton once I got more than 1 piece of hardware though, it was just not working smoothly in FL, but that was version 5 I think.

Try this: In FL go to Options and make sure Enable MIDI Output has a tick on it

Any ideas?
