Pure Moods 4: Various Artists, you can find the cd on Amazon. You will notice this version of the song is a bit shorter length wise. Quality is good, though the piano does sound a bit more twangy here than normal version.
Personally I dl the track of a p2p just to see if the version was even released. It sounds legit to me, not the bootleg fan made version someone earlier on this thread suggested. |
Yeah the version on Pure Moods IV is the "Heat Mix" i mentioned in my post which is the same version that is available on Moby's single "That's When I Reach For My Revolver" and compilation "I Like To Score". It has minor differences to the original version but it still isn't the exact same version than used in the movie no matter how tried to title it to be so. The real Heat version still remains unreleased so I wish Moby would release it one day, just like the new version of Extreme Ways he did for Bourne Ultimatum was released.
Regarding of cool original score pieces or reworked, remixed or otherwise altered music made for movies... It's always been very common not to release most of the exclusive music in movies in the exact same form anywhere outside the movies but just use the standard versions from singles or albums on the soundtrack CDs.
