with all due respect, big government is not good in a capitalist economy such as the U.S and the U.K.

If you wan't a totalitarian government go to Cuba, Venezuela, or any other third world nation.

Obama is a socialist and a radical. His ideas are not in accordance to the conservative population (the majority of people who work for a living, save money, live within their means, etc).

Obama clearly condemns wall street. The government is trying to control everything and that is not good at all. A big government is not the solution to the problems of those who fell under the current financial doom.

While it does affect all of us, the private sector should remain...well, private. That I agree with you. If you bail out everyone people will repeat their mistakes, because big brother (or big nanny) will be there to watch your back. Worry not, all of this money does not come without strings attached, we are entering the era of big government control and supervision, expect your privacy to be sold and distributed, expect big taxation, extreme fiscal policy, expect government intervention in everything that use to belong to the private sector.

Fuck Wall Street.

The whole of the US is not conservative, but there is a wide conservative population. The conservative population tends to not live in urban centers, which are traditionally much more to the left.

The Northeast US and the Western US are incredibly more left than they are right and also are the major population centers.

And honestly the fiscal conservatives in the US are far more likely to be just stupid and cheap than they are actually in line with fiscal conservative doctrine.

The US is a country founded on not liking taxes, but the people seem to forget that taxes pay for a whole lot of shit.

These people will be the first to complain about how their schools failed their kids in providing them an education, or that crime is high in their area because there is no police force, or that their interstate highway system is falling apart.

Do they want to pay for it? Fuck no. Will they bitch? Fuck yes.
If they

Well, ironically, if you look at Los Angeles (the second largest city in the US, which happens to be very liberal)you will notice that as a result of their big spending problem, the entire population is facing, as i believe, a very dire situation of being completely broke. I believe today they found out they had some kind of budget, but that same system of government spending is what obama is aiming for, and the us government cannot afford, and i repeat it cannot afford to bail or spend more money after what they have spent over the last couple of years starting with bush. obama should have been more conservative from the get go, in my opinion.

I am referring to California as a whole...

California has too big an economy to be a state.

And really, fuck both sides, but I still think Obama can get this shit turned around. I fear what McCain would have been doing... or not doing.

No, fuck anarchy as well. The US is too big for its britches and their are cultural and political divides that run down both sides based on their regions.

Split the ******.

funny last time i checked, most everyone worked for their money. no one got a bad mortgage on food stamps...

people who are responsible shouldnt be punished, but just because you pay your mortgage doesnt mean you DONT have thousands of dollars of debt somewhere else! its a little difficult to hear someone who shouts on TV for a job tell everyone else how it is.

shitty mortgages and the dumbasses whom picked them up suck, but mostly this is just a 'conservative' rant against obama. the fucking surplus hasnt even shown any effect yet, but already its *only* helping broke assholes. funny, i dont have a mortgage and i am a broke asshole, but i havent noticed a change yet.

the issue is, that the whole country is so far in the shitter it doesnt really matter whether you do or dont pay your mortgage. if we want to get back in the red we need to do worlds more than has been done. everyone in the US thinks everyone else is deadbeat, but most of the US debt is owned by foreign countries... be a 'free trader' with that|

So 92% of people who still make their mortgage payments should pick up the tab for the other 8%??

This 75B$ given to the bank, it's free money!
