Looking at those wishlists, makes me so happy that the underground EDM is alive and kicking in Montreal. And that we can actually not only wish, but expect some of those names to even play here.
Piknic is our pride and joy, and I will always do my best to help the organisation because the better they do, the more we have an healthy, young, educated scene that don't fall into the obvious stereotyped music. (hmm.. maybe healthy was not the best word, but you know what I mean).
I will also add that i'm glad to see a lot of locals doing great recently and getting more play time in clubs like Bender, Maher, Greg, Viktor, X-Cube, Maus, Mateo (the return)... and may I add my new favorite: Michel Lloyd. (and a lot more names but can't name them all, please don't be offended)...
I hope that somehow, locals will be able to have a lot of space to shine at Piknic this year. Because through good times and bad times, they are the heart of this city.
This will be an awesome year for Piknic and EDM, I can feel it.
