thanks Trance-MB. You've made a lot of good suggestions in the past. i got Golden girls - Kinetic (Frank De Wulf Remix) from you and also the secret cinema - timeless altitude months ago from you. just so you know the golden girls track worked great for me few months ago, brought the floor back to life, thought you might like to know that. i played the secret cinema in the same set but it definitely did not work, it kinda killed the floor. its at 129bpm but it really needs to be sped up more to work i think. i like these other 2 you've posted here but you're right the first one sounds like 131bpm might be too fast. sometimes i can slow a fast one down and it will work, but they usually have to be consistent "static" tracks with a lot of ryhthm but are repetitive to work when pitched down.
Thanks, nice to hear, some over here have a different opinion.....
Most tracks were played a bit faster at clubs in Holland.
I think you should have a listen at the site of the famous Amsterdam iT, which is closed for years. Yes many "gay" stuff, but they had great compilation cd's.
You can have a short listen to all 12 of them over here:
Phocus - Don't Stop
Queer - Get up, stand up
The Crown - House Music
Armania - Turn Me On
Sueno Latino feat. Valeria Vix - Noche Diva (Escandalosa Remix)
Amsterdance - You Gotta Feel It
Maybe I'll put some of those at Youtube.

chubby one is my fav of those. all of those youtubes are great except the first one is a bit too ravie and too fast for me. 80% of my collection is 123bpm-130bpm. Everytime I throw a 135er dragged down to that range it kills the floor. I algo like SM Trax- Show me something special which i got from you a while back.

Yep, the first one doesn't need any pitching up. Over here that would have the opposite effect.
For the slower one you might need to have a look at older tracks.
I have Chubby Chunks on this one, the last of this great series: Turn Up The Bass 25
Queer - Get Up, Stand Up uses a sample of Chubby Chunks by the way.Strictly Club '97
This is more the speed your look for I guess:

It doesn't get more maximal than "epic". It's the complete antithesis of minimal house.

it is yup i agree. i liked i think maybe the first 1 or 2 songs of the 3rd mix, then it just got too intense for me.
but that made me think ... what house track can claim the title of the most maximal tune ever? sort of like a pitched down psy trance tune or something along those lines.
