for the people who get all up tight about "posting club pics on facebook or myspace"

you probably do the same so shut the fukk up lol. I agree if its a fun night why not share the memories.

its all good, ive brought my old camera into pacha, and that got through. they were suspicious, but they realized it was a camera. there should be no reason why you shouldnt be allowed to bring your camera in.

Learn to type mate.

I mean, what ever happened to going to a club, getting totally pissed with your friends, perhaps meeting new friends and dancing your face off? People spend more time taking pics and recording shit quality videos than dancing. People are more concerned with the DJ than the music the DJ is playing. You almost feel apologetic when trying to dance because you'll inevitably be in the way of someone trying to take a pic. And then you have to wait, because his mate has a separate cam and needs to get the same pic too. And these are the same people who are like "OMG THIS IS THE GREATEST NIGHT EVARRRR1111!!!!111111111!! "
Really? Then why were you texting/recording/taking pictures instead of enjoying it? Sounds like you missed out.

I must say that those shit quality YouTube vids provide some help when trying to ID tracks. But at the same time we live in an age where trainspotters are better than ever so their value further diminishes. On that note, I can't help but lol when I read a review of an event and some mug posts the exact tracklist from start to finish. I can't help but wonder if the guy was sitting in the corner the whole night with a notebook.

I know this is a widely unpopular opinion and pretty much nobody will agree with me but I don't care. When I go out, it's to have a good time and enjoy some great music. I'll leave the recordings to the professionals who are there working.

I personally find myself to be very annoying with the camera. I know that I confuse and/or annoy anyone who doesn't know me, because of the ridiculous amount of pictures I take during the events. But, afterwards I look back at the final results and don’t regret making a fool of myself. I have to take hundreds of shots per event because I time everything (flashless) with the club lighting. The end result gives me very professional looking pictures without a professional camera.

Pictures are the only memories that can be collected for times that we go out. I look back at a list of events I went to five years ago and I can barley remember the details of any of them. It’s almost as if, I was never there. I can look back at the shows I went to over the past couple of years and remember all the great times that I had with my friends because of all the pictures that were taken. For those who like to just to live the moment, listen to the music, say it was good and leave… so be it. I prefer to keep my memories & store them for others to see.
