i love fifth and seventh aswell

but btw. is there no per preset tune function in the NL3?

I own both a lead 2 and a 3. I can say that the difference is huge. They are basically two different synths. like comparing a korg ms2000 to a nord 2. Clavia states somewhere on their website about how they built the nord 3 from the ground up and didn't use any algorithms from the nord 2.

Definately worth owning both if you can afford it. Nord 3 sounds thinner, cleaner and has way more control (the performance capabilities and rotary encoders re insane!. The nord 2 sounds dry, harsh and more dirty. Infact it has a character that is not massively dissimilar to my waldorf pulse.
