i'm using a xone 92 w/ an efx-1000, and i love the combo. it takes a bit of getting used to, using aux. sends routed into another channel, but once you work out your technique, they make a great combo of high-end analog sound quality and fun/dramatic effects.

the xone is pretty pricey, though. def. bought this back when i had a few grand to throw around. not sure if i'd spend $1800 on a home mixer anymore.

I have a nice used EVO5 for sale for $1400 if you want!

Which one is better quality wise, i want a mixer that is truly faithful to the signal as possible. Whatever comes in the same comes out the same That analogue allen & heath looks good.

the general consensus (hope i dont get flamed) is that A&H (esp. xone 92) are kings in terms of sound quality
