yea my gf is an only child too so the worst qualities of that came out the first trimester. the first trimester was the toughest, she turned into a total bitch! lots of nausea, tiredness, and crankiness, starving for attention all the time. we're in our 3rd trimester now and shes happier and better mood than before getting pregnant.
