Made a special appearance for this one. My friend from SF came all the way here for this gig and it is her first time in Toronto. She enjoyed it very much.

Mr. Emery was pretty good had his good and is not so good, but overall I enjoyed his stuff, great work in getting the crowd pumped.

Armin - What can I say, you are really packin the rooms these days and last night was so no exception. I kinda had the feeling people on here weren't gonna be into this set based on the fact there were a lot of breakdowns, jesus poses and uplifting. But he played a few tracks that made my night:

- Nitrous Oxide: Show me
- Nitrous Oxide: Magenta
- 3rd moon: Monsun (tune of the night for me)
- System F: Exhale
- Vast Vision - Everything(Aly & Fila remix)
- Thomas Bronzwaer - Certitude

just to name a few hehe.
Overall I really enjoyed his set, sound was a little too bassy at times especially during the vast vision track. Very uplifting, maybe the most uplifting he has played here in some time.

Had enough time to trail in to catch Markus close his set, the sound was tons better in main room, and he really had it goin off in there, gotta give it to the guy.

Left at 5, was DONE! crowd in KH was completely the worst ever, but I didn't let it ruin the night, it is to be expected. Saw TA's, but didn't get a chance to say hi. Ran into Nada, great to see you again!

Fun night for me either way.

I brought my sister (first timer) out and we had a pretty solid time. I will say, I'm not a big armin fan - haven't ever enjoyed a set of his - but overall the night was great in KH because of the vibe. Lots of good people in the area we were in. I wished so badly that Menno came on an hour earlier - his tunes were solid, banging trance which was hitting the spot just perfectly. I haven't been to a trance event in probably a year, so it was nice to reconnect. That being the case, due to the ridiculously expensive nature of the Guv complex, I won't be going to another any time soon - Footwork for me.

BTW, based on these reviews Im really bummed I didn't check out Shulz! I knew I would have loved it, but it just wasn't in the cards.

Markus was Epic in the main room, stayed in the main room most of the night since KH was too packed, but around 4 or so went to KH and spent rest of the night there, caught the tailend of AVB's set, and it was good to hear some classic and uplifting tunes after Markus' rocking set in the mainroom.

just wish AVB played longer/later cause i think his stuff is good to kind of wind down?

All in, one of the best nites i've had at guv in many years for me.

lol i thought theyd sell tickets at the front. they wouldnt, the only line i could go in was to the main room and the motherufcker stretched passed the drink entrance.

i tried getting in through the drink and the bouncer was gonna let me through then for some reason the cops told me to leave that nobody was allowed in the drink tonight.

iwas like ok whatever. and just went home.

Does anyone have a track listing of the first few tracks Menno played? There was this one track, with a robotic sounding female vocal - not many lyrics, just something like "beleive" as the main word. Man I was digging it. I've heard it before, but I just can't place it for the life of me - maybe 3rd or 4th song he played.
