i have a horror story from this morning. and im still in texas. i booked my room at the clinton hotel in oct. so i decided to call today just to confirm that they still had my reservation and how much my deposit would be. the lady on the phone tells me my reservation is cancelled???? wtf?!? she said that they tried to pull the deposit from my card 3 weeks ago and it declined, so they cancelled the reservation. she said the manager tried to call me, but i never got any message from them. so all their rooms are booked and me and my friends have nowhere to stay (remember, this happened this morning). i was sooooo pissed.
i called my buddy brian who runs a travel agency (the world agency - shameless plug) and he got me a room for the same price at the chesterfield. i guess it all worked out in the end, but i felt sick to my stomach when she told me i didnt have a room LOL
