Here's another thing new in the last couple of years. From my undestanding, Sony purposely limited its CPU speed to 222mhz, which was unlocked and released to its full 333mhz potential in some recent firmware update.
The increase in processor speed probably helps a lot with emulation. I haven't tried anything yet as my pandora hasn't arrived yet.
Oh, I got a psp slim (2001), not a 3000.
Listening to some armin/sean tyas on it right now as the gf sleeps :P

but no, other than music and emulators you're pretty much done. try the homebrew apps i guess, they ported quake and you can play it multiplayer on your psp but the controls are horrendous. some good media players out there too. |
