Typical Steinberg, blaming their bugs and shitty performance on everything other than their own software, as always.

Fragmentation hasn't really been an issue since pre-Windows 2000 days. Yeah, it can still happen, and defragging once a month or so won't hurt anything, but it's not necessary at all and you won't see any major performance boost if you do it.

(P.S. I am a Cubase user, so don't assume I'm trying to start another sequencer war or whatever)
