you guys are all haters or not even into trance. if you listen to the other tracks from his new album, you'll be quite surprised. there was alot of vocal stuff on there that's the old atb, but with a new style. he even has betsie larkin, the singer from ferry's "made of love" video on his new album. go check it out!
I'll say this: ATB is really good at doing what he does - making super cheesy music that appeals to a lot of eurodanceheads. Calling us haters or "not into trance" is like saying "Budweiser is great, don't be a hater, you must hate beer".

Any musical artist in the world can create a "cheesy" track. From Ferry to hip-hop artists, there's ALWAYS going to be some cheesy track that will eventually come from them. But when it comes down to style, its always easy to recognize if its ATB or not. Sure it does appeal to alot of eurodance fans and may not be a good track.
But bashing someone just b/c of one song that's not "great" does not mean that they overall suck. He's created great music in the past from 9pm and still does so today.

He has a few good tunes and I like some of his works, but most of his stuff sounds the same and most of his stuff is not that good. IMHO.

This does indeed sound like ATB has dug out the oldschool hardtrance/rave records from his Sequential One-days, which isn't a bad idea on paper. Unfortunately, he seems to have forgotten the fact that those records never took themselves too seriously, and were made solely to get the dancefloor going. Thus, mixing it with modern epic trance influences like he has done here gives an absolutely abysmal result.
But hey, at least he tried to come up with something a bit different.

I don't care enough to listen to the track, but when I saw ATB live last year he killed it. Really good tunes and pretty decent mixing. Its actually the only real uplifting I've seen played for a long time.

Dear god that was awful. That video is gayer than some of Armin's.
Quoted for truth. I got a bit excited at the end when that white van drove by him at the end though. I thought they were going to stick an uzi out the window and execute his sorry ass.
And the OP is an imbecile if he really thinks this is DnB
it is dnb. the new popular sound, sorta like the 'jump-up' that aphrodite was known for back in the day.
a shit track, not unlike quivver's 'dnb' - chasin a feelin
edit: sounds like he took inspiration from concord dawn - morning light

Eh, it's just a 2-step rhythm. Not exactly something exclusive to d'n'b, but certainly used to gratuitous amounts in the genre.
I find it hilarious that you only hear it for 50 seconds of the whole vid. It's like ATB knows his trance audience can't handle 2-step rhythms, so he uses it sparingly.
