I've seen John Thomas behind the decks at Future in Nighttown Rotterdam; he managed to beat-match and mix in a new record flawlessly within 15 seconds... not that I'm too fond of such short transitions (though these aren't uncommon in techno sets), but it sure was impressive.

Personally I like the mixing of Sander K and Deep Dish, they manage to create one continuous flow out of several tracks, without becoming monotone. I'm also fond of Dave Clarke's fast-paced, sometimes chaotic mixing, but that's a completely different thing

I agree whole heartedly (sp?). I've seen him live 3 times, and it was AWESOME... never heard a mess up either
