ok well here is my review:
like I have told many of you I decided to take a nap before going out. It was a good idea, but my damn alarm clock did not work again, I am gonna break that god damn thing one day.
So went to take a nap at 9:15pm woke up @ 11:30pm! And since I live in Oakville I had to drive 150kph on QEW! THAT was fun! Made it to the Guv parking lot, met Durafei in the line up, I am still surprised you showed up!
Got inside, ran right into the Acid Lounge. Thought I was late. I made it there @ 12:35am and did not see anyone at first. But WOW! Overall the turnout was huge, I would have to say about 25-30 TA's there that night!
The crowd was not too bad, still some GINO's representing in the house as always! Really the crowd comparing to the last time when he was here, was not that packed. Definetly a lot more room to dance oh yeah and later in the night there were even less people.
It was around 2:15 and I got pissed that Armin was not on yet. Me and a couple other guys started yelling "ARMIN, ARMIN, ARMIN!" Some guy in the DJ booth pointed us out to Mark Oliver, Mark looked at us and started nooding his head in disaproval. But Armin more than made up he played from 2:30am - 6:15am, almost 4 hours.
I had a blast, although at times I thought some of the stuff he played was kind of weird but cool. Like "Grace - Not Over '99" WTF!
Ok as far as the tracklisting is concerned, this is what I remember.
POSITIVE ABOUT THESE:
Solar Stone - Solarcoaster [LAST TRACK OF THE NIGHT]
Plactic Boy - Silver Bath (Original Mix)
Fragma - Embrace Me (Duderstadt Dub)
DJ Albert Vs Precision - Say Yes (Katana Remix)
Project Medusa Vs Exor - Moonshine (Donald And Giles Remix)
Solar Stone- Seven Cities (Armin van Buuren remix)
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Dj Tiesto Remix)
2 Players - Signet (G&M Project Remix)
Energy 52 - Cafe del Mar (Marco V Remix)
Signum - Cura Me (Katana Remix)
DJ Tiesto- In My Memory (Airwave Remix)
Three Drives - Carrera 2
Midway - Monkey Forest
Planet Perfecto feat. Grace - Not Over Yet (Breeder Remix)
Push - Strange World (2000 Remake)
Pulser - Cloud Walking
DJ Remy - In Your Face
LSG - The Hive
Art of Trance - Love Washes Over
Paul Van Dyk - Tell Me Why (The Riddle)
Vaiio a.k.a. Iio - Rapture (Armin Van Buuren Remix)
NOT SURE ABOUT THESE (maybe he played them or maybe I was just in a trance) ROFL!
Project Medusa - Something On White E.P. (Deep Dub Part 1)
Shane - Too Late To Turn (Armin Van Buuren Remix)
Armin Van Buuren - Sunburn
Riva - Time is the healer (AvB Vocal Remix)
Solar Factor - Deep Sonar
Joker Jam - Innocense (PvD Mix)
Eon - Pocket Damage
Taste Experience - Highlander (Ralphie B. Remix)
Hampenberg - Ducktoy (Kaylab Joins Reeloop Remix)
Mass Effect - Alpha Scan
I know he played also a few other tunes by Push I can't think of the names.

WOW
First, have to say that that was one amazing night!!!!!!!
Now let me start from the beginning. Got there at around 11:30. The line-up wasn't all that bad, got in within 5-10 minutes. Mark Oliver was spinning at the time, he was kinda a little too progressive for my tastes, I didn't really enjoy it all that much. At one point he was getting there and I was dancing away, but then that wore down too. A major factor in this was the crowd. At the time I was in the middle, a bit to the left, of the dancefloor. And boy was that a sweat pit! It was pretty crowded at the time, but what killed it for me was that I couldn't find a good spot!! People would always be shoving around me trying to walk by...couldn't get into the music. That killed my vibe, I was pretty damn disappointed.
But then Armin came on, and things changed. Oh boy did they change.
Actually when he came on I was still in the shithole so I went outside to rest a bit, came back in soon. Then discovered the wonders of the raised-platform-area-thingy! That was my perfect spot, the music was still very loud there, it was really close to the DJ booth, ***there was plenty of space***, and as an added bonus there were seats nearby! Anyway I stayed there for many hours.
Boy, did Armin blew me away!!!! It was absolutely amazing. My personal highlight was when he put on Cafe Del Mar. For some reason, before that point I was hoping he'd play it, and during the beginnings of some tracks I thought I could recognize the all too familiar (and overdone nowadays) acoustical drums that came with Cafe Del Mar, but would be disappointed. But when he DID put it on, I almost died!!! It was absolutely amazing. Another tune I really wanted to hear for some reason was Kosheen - Catch (Hiver & Hammer mix) but that didn't come about. I'm not disappointed though.
AND NO ARMIN DIDN'T LOOK LIKE A DORK!! I don't know where you people are getting this. I thought he looked really cool up there. He was having such a good time!!! Waving his arms, pointing at people, pretending to play on a keyboard (when there would be a very cool synthline), etc. Not to mention that he was smiling almost all the time!! It really helped my vibe too see that Armin was enjoying himself a lot. It really matters a lot when you're dancing down there - if you see the DJ enjoying himself, it will help you enjoy yourself as well! (Though he still has to be a good DJ lol)
Anyway I've never seen Armin in person (on the same level, i.e. not separated by 6 feet vertically from the DJ booth), but I got the impression that he was *really* tall! When Mark Oliver was in the booth with him you could really tell the difference. Armin is almost a head taller than Oliver! On that note, when Armin would lean over the equipment with his headphones on, I saw a very noticeable physical resemblance to Tiesto, just in that one pose, in the way his jaw was set and his headphones were resting on his head.
I don't know what else to say... I can't express this in words too well, it was just too mind-boggling!!
BTW when did his set actually end??? I was there until around 7, and he was still playing (albeit by that point he was sorta taking turns with Oliver).

Everything was just perfect. I went with my cousin and he is from Montreal and he loved everything last night, then we met alot of TA's @ Acid Lounge, it was nice seeing u all!!
I loved the new look of Guvernment, looks really good, I thought the crowd was alot better then before,I thought people were more friendly too.one problem I had was the damn place was sooooo god damn hot . This time alot of people were dancing, and enjoying the music and not standing around doing nothing. This time I actually had some room to dance. For music part now, Mr.Mark Oliver played such an amazing set last night, I have so much respect for the man!!
@ 2:30 Armin Came, and wooooooooooooooooooooooow I just lloved it, most of the songs were new,my favourite song was Signum - Cura me!!
I went insane when that song came on!! I thought he would play alot of classics, but boy was I wrong!!so I would have to give
10/10 for his set!!!
well I had alot of fun last night.hope to see Armin again soon
ooh and Guys dont forget Dj Taucher July 5th!!!all u guys should come to see this guy!!!

Muhahaha. As For the Set, MY GOD!!! Once again i just stared at armin, hes like a trance god to me. His Atlantis Mix to start off his set just made me melt. Very nice Set. Won't go into track since someone has pretty well posted them already. But just thought id say for u TA's who missed it awww too bad you missed a great party, that wasen't as packed. Btw how do they get away with $3.00 for a fricken freezee.. I can buy them in bulk for under $.10 a peice, and the company still gets profit.. geeze RIP OFF

Well, IMHO Armin played a better set than last time.. Lot's of amazing new tunes. The highlight for me was when he played Tiesto - Dallas 4PM. This track is absolutely amazing, but unfortunately doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
By the way, the way he mixed Dallas 4PM into Southern Sun was horrible. I guess people who complain that mixing into Southern sun is hard, are right.
Towards 4PM, but feet went numb. Add to that extreme humidity and high-termerature inside Guvernment and you will get the true picture. I went and chilled in Acid Lounge for 10 minutes, it wasn't hot at all there, so I cooled down, relaxed my legs a bit, and came out a new-born man. My enjoyment greatly increased after that.
When it was finally over at 6:20 I was absolutely exhausted yet again.
Now I have to return to reality, which means I have to study, study, study
