DT is hardly always meh. I've been partying for 15 years now, and he gave me 2 of my best 5 nights ever. I haven't been as into him lately, but I put that down to the scourge of minimal/techno/electro that is dominating everything these days which just isn't my taste.
As for 'giving you guys the heads up because a lot of you like him', what does his personality have to do with his performance? Can't a person go and enjoy the music for what it is if they like it? Freak, why do you feel the need to tear people down? From what I see you post here, you are a very funny & intelligent person who is passionate about music, but why the negativity? Cynicism is a weakness, not the strength is often passes as.

i had some fun at danny nights, including the marathon night at ((())) in 2003. I am not calling him shit by a long shot, just echoing my feelings that his relevance to dance music today is a lot less then what it was in the past. Take the futurism cd for instance, I am not saying that music has an expiry date on it (it does though to a sense), but it just went all over the place. Danny T has a lot of stuff in his bag that will appeal to the old schooler, but when it comes to people outside of that demographic, he does not really draw them in. It is only an opinion of course, but when you go to this event you will see the same faces you always have at a danny t show, and very little new faces. I think that is a testament in itself of sorts no?
