It's f*ckn' both, but A&H are in no way targeting this mixer to scratchers.
Reason is that it's a super bitch to replace the cross fader, while on my 32 it just pops out with 4 screws.
A&H are known for delivering the goods, no way is this there entry into scratch mixers lol.

I would have if this mixer was on the market at the time i bought my 32. Myself, like most others, ugrade from a 32 pretty quickly anyways. Might as well save a few bucks if you intend to upgrade quickly. And i don't know about you guys but my 32 and others that ive used were crap. Serious issues with bleeding. Not to mention the gains on the back of the mixer, eqs that aren't even full kills and the worst light meters ive ever seen on a mixer. At least it had 3 channels though.

It looks like a Xone 02 with filters added on to me. Seems like you just remove the faceplate and a few screws to change the faders too.

i can't wait til my local shop stocks this mixer

i'm in the market for a small cheap disposable mixer and this is looking like it'll do just fine (plus it helps that i love playing on allen & heath mixers)

after checking out this vid i'm intrigued and want to check it out in person

i think if you pair it up with some cdj-400's, you'll have a great little setup for a decent amount of cash

as ugly as it looks...im contemplating downgrading from my djm700 to this little guy. sadly the only equipment that have stayed with me all these years have been my tech1200s. a nice two channel mixer might be what i really need and prevent me from buying more gear. lol.

any takers for the djm700!?

In an interview I saw from NAMM when A&H released this, they specifically said it was to provide a low cost A&H mixer for bedroom users. They aren't trying to make this a scratch mixer.

Dog Running i see no harm

Sup, ok it is FUGLY ... but ... it is very well equipped for a bedroom dj ... its A&H so u know it is good quality ... its got the standard everything + the filters are in there and personally i dont see much use for all the unnecessary FX other than a good roll ... filter and reverb ... filters being the big ones ... so i think this is good ... as long as u dont take it out of ur house cuz it is UGLY haha ... emm also like sum 1 else mentioned there is the 32 which is not tht much more exp !
