honestly i think he is phenomenal. he is a breath of fresh air for the capitals and maybe the sport in general. he is unbelievably talented and i look forward to seeing what he will do next. as for his antics, doesn't seem like he means to be malicious. the hot stick thing was a one time celebration for 50 goals it is no worse than when jagr used to salute after EACH goal. i say so what let him have fun.

the other day when ovechkin said the rangers were scared of him it was to get under their skin and honestly i'm sure its true. once again not meant to be an ass. he's confident in his abilities as he should be. overall i think he's great.

am i the only one who's kind of annoyed (even though it was an amazing goal) with the fact that usually, whenever he gets the puck, he decides that he's the only one that can score and decides that he's gota go through 5 players to score. so yah that goal was sweet, but how many failed attempts does he have in this series for the same shit.

Well, to be fair, most of his failed attempts are off the crossbar it seems. I have no problem with it - his teammates aren't playing to their level right now, so as the leader and best player on the team he's within his right to try to take over and provide a spark.
