agreed. There are still a few things missing but considering which would probably be a deal breaker for people dealing in EDM ( midi automation needs some work ) it is a fantastic program that really does almost everything better than alot of the major DAWs.

I own it but it was really a support buy because of the type of work i do, i just don't use it. I have tested it tho and i was extremely impressed not only by how unbloated it is , but it is constantly updated. To think that cubase users for mac have been waiting years for a 64 bit version. You are right in that for recording, it is really becoming popular. I hope it does well because with a name change and a few upgrades, i am certain it would give every DAW a run for its money.

the name tho. they really need to change it. I think sometimes Europeans don't understand that somethings just don't sound that cool.

I personally wouldn't choose either of your choices (Ableton or Pro Tools). Pro Tools is more suitable for recording music (instruments) etc. Sure it would probably go fine for EDM production as well, but if you're mainly focused on producing within the computer there is bmore practical choices such as Logic, Cubase, FL and Ableton (as you mentioned) but I personally wouldn't choose Ableton myself though. But that's a matter of taste mainly since I prefer the "standard" layout of the programs such as cubase and logic while Ableton isn't my cup of tea in the layout. But if your gonna choose between Ableton and Pro Tools, I'd say go Ableton. I myself is a real Cubase fan though.

good deal,

this is bit of off topic. How do you know Marylanders call Baltimore bmore? I maybe ignorant but I hardly see other people from other country call it bmore or even know what bmore is...

Happening a lot at the moment. A lot of people seem to be just reading the last post and then typing the first thing that comes to mind. It's like they're trying to get their post count up or something?

Never used reaper but it looks a lot like acid pro in it's design.

I forgot to mention I love the stability of logic - honestly I've had a it crash once on me and even then I realised it was my fault. Cubase on a mac was always flakey, but heard good things about the last update of cubase 4 on mac being stable. Don't know about cubase 5 on mac as everyone I know that has it is on a PC.

I read the first post and replied. You have issues with that? FL has already mentioned, I guess that mean a lot of people support it if its mentioned many times.

Yes actually, as we don't have mods and to avoid further pollution of this forum, please keep thought like these to yourself.

If you'd bothered reading the the thread, you know how useless your post was.

Here, I'll save you some time:

So unless he wants to run bootcamp and then FL inside windows on that (which for so many reasons is a not the best idea, especially when there are so many other thoughtful reasons in this thread to use one of the other sequencers), that suggestion is quite truly useless, but again you'd know that if you read the thread (or even past the first post).

Try reading the threads fully (and you own responses) before you post.

Chrono - I'm honestly trying to help you - if you haven't noticed, several threads on here in past few weeks have turned in to running jokes about some of your "contributions" on here, and I think in some cases it's becuase you just either read the most recent or first post then just say your response out loud.

Trust me I don't need any help. I'm quite aware of what is going on.

i believe that you think you know what is going on. I think you know what your name is. I think you are aware of the day. That is about as far as i will go in assuming what you think you know.
