The simple fact that Kingston is on the list should be some kind of indicator. Kingston is a hole! Yes, it has its percs, but fuck, prisons, uni-drunkeness, the fuckin townies.

are you kidding me? Burlington is a great place to live. In terms of schools, property value, safety, sense of neighbourhood etc, getting a doctor/dentist, amenities etc. It has tonnes of parks and easy access to both Toronto and Hamilton. Great public transit too.

I am confused as to why Oakville didn't make the list, as Burlington and Oakville are almost identical

...so how did Vancouver make the top 5 if its based on this criteria?

Seriously? It's probably has the highest housing prices in Canada, tough to find a job and has been hit pretty bad by the recession, and it has the highest crime rate in Canada.

All Vancouver has is the beaches/scenery to its name.

Have you been to Vancouver? If you have and still say that you really didn't get a chance to see the city. Yes buying a house or apartment is expensive, but rents aren't too bad.

Saying that this article is dumb, Brandon Manitoba in the top 10? My sister has to go there every summer and says its a huge dive.
