I think these guys are idiots, I can't stand this kind of behavior, but I understand it. Stupid teenagers thinking that they are invincible. I have cruised down highway stretches back in high school at 240 km/h, and I barely evaded a most likely to be fatal accident at one point. I got right back to my antics in no time, and it took a severe booking with the car getting impounded indefinitely to make me aware of the imminent danger i was putting myself and other innocents in. I received a lengthy ban from driving from speeding +underage driving(18 limit, was 17)to ...ban still stands 3 yrs later
If one event really put the last nail in the coffin with the joyriding scene, it was when 2 buddies of mine ate complete shit in an sl 55 amg, entering a t junction obliviously, and it was too late to turn. They ended up penetrating a 2 foot thick perimeter wall of a bungalow, progressing through the yard, and crashed through the side of the house, ending up in the master bedroom to give the sleeping couple a surpise visit, accompanied by a sleeping infant in the room. the car was obviously totalled.
I don't know what stroke of luck allowed everyone to escape with medium injuries, but the whole story spooked me. I have never thought the same way about joy riding since. there was a massive sturdy tree in the yard about a meter off their trajectory, and the analysts at the site said if they had hit it, it would have most likely resulted in fatalities of the two.
Dumbfuck who drove, still drives like a dumbfuck last time I checked. and he got away scot free...yay nepotism.

Was this in Dubai? Those guys drive nuts. It great that they can afford such machines but some of the antics will just get you killed and you dont get to enjoy all the luxuries.
