He definitely has a distinct sound which has been repeated a lot. But, it's a sound I find pretty amazing... and I haven't listened to enough to be sick of it yet. I'm sure the day will come. (Perhaps after I'm done listening to jupiterone's mix).

I was ok with Archangel, in fact Boy 8-Bit's remix of it is one of my favorite tunes to chill to. But after I tracked down an album from last year and jammed to it a few times it got boring real quick.

It's something I've been actively concerned with while listening to Burial, so I admit to intentionally throttling my exposure to avoid "ruining it".

i'm getting over it. i like some variation, i think it's what burial lacks. his recent previews on radio 1 were boring, exactly the same as everything else. i mean, some people find this good, you know, not straying away from the artists original direction, but when it's this consistent it gets rather boring

can't win these days, if you go a different direction everyone will label you a sell-out. stay consistent and everyone whines about repetivity.
