Fucking morons, did you piss and moan that the Guitar Hero guitar doesn't look like the real thing? or that the drums in Rock Band are actually just hard plastic on metal stands?
wtf did you think it would look like? an actual turntable, and come with an actual mixer, all for $199?
What a stupid argument. |
I'm not trying to make an "argument" as far as what the turntable looks like. I think the whole idea is absurd to begin with, regardless of how the peripherals look. I just can't wait to see the tracklist so we can find out how much Japanese electropop, Darude, Eiffel 65 and Basshunter they can throw at us. Maybe we'll get some Fatboy Slim bonus tracks, or if we're really lucky *gasp* some Moby!!!
In the end though, if you love this game, more power to you. I like Rock Band (with a group), I'll admit that. What I'm just not seeing is first how you could play this with a group, which is half the fun of Rock Band (or really any performance-based music game), and second how they're going get any amount of decent songs since it seems they want to both span many genres and appeal to a wide audience.
You never know, this could come out and blow all of our balls off and I'd be thrilled. Right now though I'd rather poke fun at it rather than get my hopes up for an almost inevitable piece of steaming crap.
