useing the middle curve setting on the DJM 600, and it sounds quite nice
what ive been doing lately is ill have 2 tracks going...then ill kick one out for a second while the other ones still going...it sounds like you cut some of the instruments...its sounds soooo good

it's not that hard....... I do it sometimes in my gigs..... it sounds pretty cool..... and most important, it makes a boring part of a track alot more interesting.

The one with the volume fader is one to do you’re your tune spinning is at a pretty boring part. If it’s anything more complicated track wise it can sound dire.
You can also do a variant of this trick, which produces similar results but IMHO sounds better. It works exactly the same except you use the bass EQ rather than the main channel volume.
