Me and Adam did hang a bit over the weekend and I finally had my first go on some CDJs... I will never make fun of someone trainwrecking ever againlulz.

It's not that I don't understand what's happening, because I do, it's literally that I can't hear it yet. When I first started trying to mix I could not hear what was coming out of the monitors over my headphones regardless of how loud it was. It was weird, but after a few hours of trying it I finally could hear both pretty clearly.

Now it's more or less just repeatedly doing it to understand when to pitch up / down, after that I'm gravy, or should be.

It's something that is going to take time, and lots of it. Took me about a year to get it to where it was second nature on belt drives.

(Granted, I was 14.)

If you're referring to me, the prodigy took a huge slide to zero after he worked with Eric Prydz.

it was 18+. i was w/o internet for a few days so couldn't report back...sorry about that

we know this is a new and difficult venue, but to those who made it out, what did you think?

From what I remember, the venue was a little too large and it kinda looked like no one was there, even though there was a decent turnout. I prefer the more intimate setting at bazzaar, but it was a nice change of pace. Martyn's tunes were nice.

i prefer bazzaar as well. i wasn't the promoter of this event, i just supported it event kind of got booked late and there weren't too many venues.

should be interesting for the dubstep festival there.
