Would love to hear you do a new wave set sometime. |
I am such a rookie when it comes to mixing, I am trying to master the art of it. Especially since I go in one take, on the turntables (some vinyl) with computer interface and MP3 - all in one mix.
New wave, eh? We'll see about that, its a good style, but I have neglected it due to other 80's fancies like synth-pop and italo-disco - which I have invested a LOT of time and money into. Then there's also synthesizer dance / space synth - you may also like that if you are interested in spacey music.
EDIT: Did you mean "New Beat" or "New Wave" - because there's a big difference there. I realized this after I remembered you posted on the New Beat thread in Music Discussion. I certainly will make a new beat mix in the future, plenty of tracks to choose from
Thanks to everyone for all the feedback so far. Perhaps another disco mix will be in the making, in the future. Right now I am concentrating on the next mix, Canadian '90s eurodance sound.
