this thread is lol.

not only is the "tribal" of today you guys are talking about nothing like what you are comparing it to, but it never really went away if you follow what most of you describe in this thread (see percussion, congas , bongos and more).

it is just getting beaten a bit more now. You can thank guys like guillaume coutu dumont and a few other usual suspects who have been making and playing this kind of stuff for 3 + years already (and 3 years ago the lame nyc style circuit tribal was still around).

you guys are no different than those idiots that call everything with a kick drum techno.
