my braziliano friend has the same name, and he says it's pronounced gee. weird, he must be a retard

What does the 'gui' from 'guilty' sound like? As far as I'm concerned, 'guilty' is pronounced 'giltee', which would translate as 'gee' or 'gi', just like jupiterone said.

I've always pronounced it 'gwi bor-ah-toe', but I was always unsure whether that was correct or not.

I meant with a short g not the j sounding g. Guh Guh.
