I think Rivaldo should be banned for being such an outrageous gaylord! How many times did he dive in that game? He put Ginola and Klinsmann to shame! If someone knocked his shoulder he'd fall to the ground clutching his eye. Tosser!
It's people like Rivaldo that kill the sport. Some may say they beat England fair and square, I would say it was a fairly clean game (except for that fruit Rivaldo), but noone can deny that the Turks were robbed by a Brazilian side that wasn't too keen on playing football.
The Brazilian side of 1970 was possibly the greatest football side that ever lived, and they would completely destroy the Brazilian side of today.
I did have sympathy for Senegal, but they cheated their way through as well, diving left right and centre eventually getting a totally unjust penalty.
The team I am rooting for now is South Korea. They seem like a good honest team who overcome the size difference with extreme fitness. Their fans are mint as well. I'd love to see them go all the way
