i was planning on it. cuz its my bday weekend...however, my friend scheduled his bachelor party in tahoe that friday saturday. hopefully they have another live feed though, and we'll just be listening to some good tunes in the cabin.

After using this hi-def camera.. I realized ima need to uprade sound isnt that spectaular for recording. the filter for the mic sucks.

The nice thing is now, that I have a braodcast to go along with the sound, the video will be dubbed with the recording...

Just gotta find time to sync both the two up.

Well, you prob want two machines for everything...a video + audio broadcast should have its own machine unless it's a PIMP machine (4-core or more...or the new Intel i7 CPU...I mean, if you want superior results... ..if you have a machine powerful enough (and have an ASIO capable audio input so you can use the line-in on the audio card in two seperate applications), you can do both the video+audio stream and the audio only stream.

If you have that, just use Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder (FMLE) and justin.tv....both free things!

This way, you can tell it to use the video fromt he camera however it's going into the machine and then what audio to use.....

Login to the Justin.tv server (through the software. Setting up for use with Justin.tv is super easy) through FMLE, and press start...

And you can tell it to record the live .FLV stream being output to its own FLV file.

well maybe ill just send you the videos since you wanted to help last time dave...

Justin.tv's quality is shit.. If 1015 wants to to live video from the club they need to be able to have bigger pips.. 160K maximum is not good enough for both video and audio..
