Quite a bit, actually, but they'll play hardball with individual clients. When my Corolla was stolen, I got my insurance broker to do the dirty work and came out with a number close to 20% higher than their original insult.

Edit: Although that car was also pretty new, literally a few months off-lease. Might be different for an older car.

i have not ever seen the actual policy in like 10 years. every year they send me a one page document that tells me what coverage i have and what premium i pay for each thing. granted i have probably received the big book descibing the policy but i have been driving for close to 15 years. i have moved 50 million times, i do not have the copy of the original papers. plus i doubt that there is an exact description to what happens when the tow company takes the vehicle all over town to increase the charges.

I didn't know that they had to specifically say that damage is covered if you vehicle is hit by missiles. I mean you probably have more things to worry about than your car if that's happening.

Indeed... it's redundant in order to cover differences in interpretation... is an object flying if it is not under it's own power?... is a bullet a flying object or a missile, since it's being propelled by an external force?... by including missile it eliminates such questions.
