Oddly, I do like being in the sun as well and find it relaxing. But if it's too hot I get uncomfortable rather quickly.

Same same

Sometimes I'll wrap some ice cubes in tin foil just so I can press the coldness on my head. Feels really fucking good IMO.

Anyone else notice that girls seem to get cold more easily? My gf and I stayed in a hotel room recently and I turned it down to 70 (hey, the cost doesn't change based on how much AC you use). I thought it felt awesome but she was freezing and kept turning it back up.

i wouldn't say it's relaxing. more like refreshing? keeps you awake, makes you feel alive, etc...

Heat can piss me off, if it's oppressive, but I've never found being cold relaxing. Right now I'm enjoying the heat wave very much, because Britain has had such shitty weather for the past two years I was wondering if prolonged sunny spells were a thing of the past.

If it was hot all the time I'd probably find cooler temperatures very relaxing.

Maybe that's it. Growing up in a place where summers have streaks of thirty or more days of 105 F (40.5 C) has made me long for the cold.

Ha. The temperature hasn't got anywhere near that here and still it's all over the news that there's an official heatwave warning on. People in this country are pathetic about weather.

People in the eastern U.S. are like that about heat as well. I have to laugh as they start complaining when it gets to 90 F (32 C). Pansies.

Indoors (but not outdoors), I much prefer it cold. My summer electric bills were routinely in the $500-$700 range when I was living in TX.

Here, electricity is included in my rent, heh heh heh...

cold ftw.... my theory is you can always put on more clothes as it gets cooler... if its getting warmer there is a limit to what you can do about it.
