i'm on it - i don't think it'll pass as a fad. it doesn't feel like facebook or a myspace because of the lack of things you can really share on twitter. on FB and myspace, you can really really delve into what people are doing, what their station in life is, that sort of thing. i use twitter to follow some news feeds or reporters, and friends that're on it. it's a way to randomly get your thoughts out there withought having to blog, or to check what others are doing, or just to have mini conversations when phones and ims aren't practical. it's stupidly addictive.
oh and twitter's been around for a few years now. i think vern has been on it a LONG time.
