I do. It's on par with holocaust denial. They are idiots of the highest order. |
How can you put Holocaust denial and Moon Landing Faked together in the same basket? LOL ...
You are crazy. Might as well label those who think that Moon landing as faked as Hitler lovers and Holocaust deniers, too.
There's nothing important about stepping on the Moon - there's nothing there. Soviets were first to step into space. First to have craft land on another space body. First to have to woman in space. Longest time in space, longest and most successful space station by far, MIR (to the day the biggest influence to the current international station) - and most importantly, the Russian Soyuz technology is more effective and more successful than the shuttle technology (the latter will soon be put in garbage). Soyuz capsules have been sending men and women into space and back since 1960's, for a small fraction of the cost and greater safety.
The reason why Americans think they won the space race is because they needed a morale booster after already losing to the Soviets in space. So they made the public believe that landing on the Moon is considered as winning the space race - which hardly ended. There's absolutely nothing there, apart from a future tourist destination for a good view of Earth from space.
I am not defending the Soviets as I hated the regime, but I got to say that landing on the Moon is totally insignificant. Americans didnt even establish a base, didnt mine any minerals, didnt do anything other than jump around, collect a few pebbles, pay billions for the hole thing, and then leave until further notice. How retarded is that?
A win would be setting up something serious, like a space station, or landing people on another planet.
