Interesting story...

I was in Dallas, Texas a while ago and I saw a meteorite hit the top of a rock wall...

It must have been tiny by the time it reached earth but it was a definate streak from the sky and when it hit the wall, it exploded into a shower of sparks...

Kinda looked like when a piece of molten metal falls from a welder and hits the ground, just much faster...

I was at the humber park right on park lawn and lakeshore and I saw plenty of them last night. Probably about 10-15 an hour. One shot across the whole sky you can see the trail of light like no other. Thought for the peak of the event I will probably go up north or to Port Hope to check it out.
