Also, some of the ingredients in multi-vitamins can actually "block" the absorption of other ingredients. Calcium inhibits the absorption of magnesium, for example.

Mostly because I'm at a relatively high risk for heart disease and to a lesser extent, diabetes. But also because my body aches a bit from basketball and lifting; it helps a bit with that too.

Aspirin protects against diabetes? Didn't know that.

Even a remotely healthy diet is more than enough to get all you need. Paying for vitamins gives you expensive pee, that's it.

when you start getting old you need to take things in pill form if you're not getting enough vitmains and nutrients from the food you eat.

i eat A LOT of veggies and tomatoes/avocados and salad. pretty much every single night i have a salad with dinner. i'm definitely getting whatever nutrition is offered from green leafy veggies and tomatoes, that's for sure. i dont get enough calcium though even though i do like milk. i just dont drink it enough.

One of the biggest cash-cow hoaxes to be pulled over the consumer. They’re not properly regulated either- you know why? Because none of their products are promised to achieve any noticeable results, unlike proper medication. No regulation, no duty of care, massive profits. Wish id got in on the bottom floor :/
