Yes, if it's a smaller one they don;t bother, but with the big weddings and private events they nearly always have had a full DJ booth type setup. the cd sets i had with me, it wasn't needed, i had every piece of popular music from the 1940's to the present
i always worked by myself, the less trips i had to make from the van to the venue to set up, the better
i only dreamed of having a flight case with a rackmount mixer and cdjs
i used to have to lug around big passive PA speakers AND a big heavy amp, then my boss finally wised up and bought eons
of course a xone 92 is my fav mixer, but coming from a mobile djing background, i can see how this update on the 3000 is much needed, i wouldn't buy it myself unless i decide to get back in the mobile game
