the 400 is kinda cool, i've played on it a few times, that wheel takes a little getting used to, it's not quite like the platter on the 800/1000 or the 200, the features are neat but for regular playing, i'd go with the 800

Go for the 800. The 1000 is knock for the tiny increase in functionality.

The 400 just does not feel as good as the 800 especially with that jog wheel and vinyl mode and you really don't need that extra media option etc.

The 800 is a great unit a a decent price. Go for it and don't look back.
