Warwick is going in your direction but is a lot lower. New Paltz, looking at a map is far from everything so I guess it isn't part of it. I want to go somewhere this weekend and it looks really nice. I need to convince him to drive the four hours that google maps says. |
I would highly recommend it!! If you stay between cayuga and seneca lake, there are about 10000 wineries and probably the most well-known and award-winning wineries. It is uber cheap to get a limo or driver there (please be VERY careful about driving....soo many drunk drivers who get slammed by the wine outta no where!!)
There are a ton of bed and breakfasts on cayuga, which is deffo the lake I would recommend staying on (I live on the west side and worked at this place called the silver strand....amazing place and they have free brunch and boat rides as well as a spectacular view!!)
^^if you have time during the WEEK I would def recommend it! places are cheaper and the wineries are slower (which is realyyyy nice bc there is nothing worse than having to wait for a few party buses full of wasted college kids....its not fun, like at a bar where you WANT it to be packed, wineries you would prefer tham to be slow and leisurely!)
