I don't need to stream because my monitor does 1200p and I have a combo hd-dvd blu-ray player on my computer i just want to waste noobs

Actually I did run into an issue. Since the drive has to be FAT32 for PS3 to read it I can't get around the 4GB limit. For now I split my files and put them in same folder so that PS3 will play files in sequence.

Really? My drives are NTFS and it works fine.

External?

I read ps3 only reads FAT32 drives.
