It had to be a joke.
Techno ejay is more a toy. and EXTREMELY limited.

Get the FL Studio demo from flstudio.com.

Its an excellent program for beginners with TONS of great tuts and it makes awesome sounds

I would start with a basic DAW like fruity loops or ableton live and add some good software effects like a uad-1 card and some good hardware synths to play with. For example this synth right here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...T#ht_3083wt_941 is widely popular among trance producers. It is the virus synth. This track right here for example was created entirely with the virus synth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipE9QFiWhzQ

Yeah DJ Robby Rox is right.. Fruity Loops is indeed a powerful tool to use. If anyone goes like "Fruity Loops is for n00bs" , IGnore Them.

And you cant be serious.. Techno eJay? Thats a toy dude!

if you have a mac
possibly try logic 9 ? or 8 but 9 jsut came out..
or reason. or both lol..

it is expensive but good and the onboard synths are fairly good too.

or if your looking for a plugin synths

native instruments.. or vanguard.

vanguard has some nice presets to get you started then you can tweak em.. also deconstruct them and figure out how they came to get that sound (its what i like to do i find it quite helpful)

but thats just my oppinion.. every here will be different.

some like FL some like Ableton some like logic.. pro tools. etc.

have a look on the net at some vids on youtube or google about them

Hey what's up?
Whatever happened to that super awesome progressive trance track you made?
Will you be releasing it any time?
Can you send me the parts for a remix?

lol trance addict is cruel place anyway even worse when your new.

If i wanted to start djing on computer and making a few bits and pieces I would get a laptop with any one of the hundreds of dj packages little usb audio interface so you can cue the next record without it coming over the monitors and maybe a copy of reason or ableton.

Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.
