James Holden - Solstice

I love the little kick drum he uses there. Makes me think of armaggedon and epic marching armies of orcs under a really dark sky signaling the end of the world for some reason.

This CD is loaded with uplifting, energetic, blood moving tracks intricately mixed with angelic perfection. From that moment on, I could feel the magik flowing through my veins while listening to the music that Tijs carefully samples and produces. His creativity allows him to develop the concepts of songs that bring life and energy to people around the world.

that's when Holden was producing really interesting tracks. The first hour or so is tremendous.

any other BC releases on the horizon? I just checked out some google results and facebook profile for BC....not much of anything going on. Wouldnt be surprised if that Fake release was the last one for them

Only other thing I heard was an MFA on BC for 2009 but that had to be 6 months ago at least....

"10101" sounds like something you'd hear on a trendy car commercial.

Honestly, I like a lot of his weirder new stuff, from what I'm hearing.

I see people slating him all the time, though.
